Privacy Policy

Prepared: 30 October 2026 · Published: 30 October 2026 · Effective: from publication on bdgoldenclub.com

1. Who we are

Golden Club operates bdgoldenclub.com for club membership, community activities, blood-donation coordination, sports and event management.

Our main brand name is Golden Club. We may also be described locally or online as Algi Bazar Golden Club, Noakhali Golden Club, Bangladesh Golden Club or BD Golden Club. These names refer to Golden Club in this policy; they do not, by themselves, describe separate registered organisations.

This policy covers personal information handled through our website and related club administration. It does not establish legal registration, replace the club constitution or change tournament, membership or refund rules.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the service you use, we may collect:

  • Account and membership information: Name, username, email, contact details, profile information, application and membership status, and the club sections or teams you join.
  • Tournament information: Team name and badge, captain or manager contact details, player names, ages, positions, photographs, jersey numbers, optional date of birth and experience notes where included in the event form.
  • Financial records: Fee category and amount, payment method, transaction/reference ID, requested payment screenshots, verification decisions, receipts, refunds and audit records. Please remove unrelated balances and transactions from screenshots.
  • Blood-donation information: Details requested by an enabled donor or request form, such as contact information, blood group and the area where assistance is needed. Do not submit unrelated medical records.
  • Communications and permissions: Enquiries, support messages, submitted forms, rules acknowledgements and privacy, guardian or publication permissions.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser/device information, request times, login and security events, cookies and server logs used to operate and protect the website.

Information may come from you or an authorised team or club representative. Required and optional fields should be identified on the relevant form.

Please do not submit passwords, one-time codes, payment PINs, card security codes, NID documents or home addresses through ordinary forms unless we have expressly explained a necessary, approved collection process.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Administer accounts and membership.
  • Review applications and coordinate teams, donors and activities.
  • Verify payments and issue receipts and approval letters.
  • Manage fixtures, results and awards.
  • Respond to enquiries and send service updates.
  • Record permissions and protect the website against misuse.

Access is limited according to the responsibilities of authorised club staff.

Submitting an application, payment reference or screenshot does not automatically verify payment or approve a team. Refund eligibility is governed by the applicable published event terms.

Optional publication permission is separate from the information needed to administer an application. Where applicable, we rely on consent, the steps needed to provide the requested service, proportionate security and administrative needs, and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

4. What may appear publicly

Subject to the relevant settings and permissions, public pages may display:

  • Team names and badges.
  • Application counts or review status.
  • Approved player names, photographs, ages and positions.
  • Fixtures, scores, scorers, cards and awards.
  • Approved committee information.

Member-directory and community visibility depends on enabled features and applicable profile settings. Do not place private information in publicly visible profile fields, posts or comments.

Representatives submitting rosters must have authority to provide the details and obtain player or guardian permissions where needed.

Private phone numbers, emails, birth dates, payment proofs, transaction references, private receipts and approval PDFs must not be published as public roster information.

Public content can be copied, indexed or saved by others, even after removal from our website.

5. Private documents and notifications

Applicants may access their own available receipts and approval letters through authenticated access. Email delivery is supplementary: an email failure does not itself remove an available dashboard document.

Authorised staff may access records needed for their duties.

We use contact details for application updates, payment questions, approvals, schedules and related service messages. Where email is enabled, relevant information and document attachments may be sent to the registered team email and designated organiser inbox.

Keep your inbox and downloaded PDFs secure. Sharing a document outside our service is your responsibility.

Providing a WhatsApp number does not authorise unrelated marketing or guarantee automated WhatsApp/SMS delivery. Optional promotional messages require a separate choice where applicable.

6. Service providers and disclosures

The website uses WordPress and services for hosting, security, forms, membership, translation and email. The current setup includes Hostinger services, Elementor, Fluent Forms, BuddyPress, Golden Club plugins, Wordfence, LiteSpeed, WP Mail SMTP and GTranslate. Installation does not mean every optional feature is enabled.

Hosting, security and email providers may process information needed to deliver their services.

Selecting automatic translation can send displayed page content and technical information to Google/GTranslate services. Avoid using translation on private forms or documents.

Payment providers such as bKash and Nagad handle transactions under their own policies. Golden Club records references and performs its own verification.

We may share relevant information with authorised organisers, service providers, your authorised representative, or authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud or safety concerns.

Third-party sites have their own privacy practices. Some providers may process information outside Bangladesh.

7. Cookies and language tools

WordPress login, security, preferences and performance features may use cookies or similar browser storage. The language selector may use translation cookies to remember your choice. Third-party embeds, if enabled, may make their own requests and set cookies.

You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other functions.

Choosing a language is not consent to unrelated advertising.

If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising, we will update the relevant notice and provide consent controls where required.

8. Children and sensitive information

Event eligibility is set by the event rules; this privacy policy does not impose an age limit.

A parent or guardian should authorise participation and use of a child’s information where necessary. Representatives must not publish children’s photographs or details without appropriate permission.

Contact us if a child’s information has been submitted without authority.

Blood-group and donor information deserves particular care. We use it for the requested coordination and do not make it public simply because a form was submitted.

This website is not an emergency or medical-care service.

9. Retention and security

We retain information for the period needed for the requested service, account administration, event records, disputes, financial accountability and applicable legal requirements.

A specific event notice may set a shorter retention period. Public sporting records and private financial records may require different retention arrangements. Backup copies may remain until the backup cycle expires.

We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or an automatic deletion schedule that has not been implemented.

Our system uses measures such as authenticated document access, staff permissions, input validation and audit records. No online service is completely secure.

Please report suspected unauthorised access promptly and never share your account password.

10. Your choices and requests

Email bdgoldenclub@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request” to request:

  • Access to or correction of your information.
  • An available export of your records.
  • Account closure or deletion.
  • Withdrawal of optional publication consent.
  • A review of how your information is used.

Include only enough information to locate your account or application. We may verify your identity or authority before acting. Never email your password or payment PIN.

We will review and respond as soon as reasonably practicable. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, financial or dispute purposes; we will explain relevant limits.

Withdrawing optional consent does not invalidate earlier authorised processing. Removing information from our website cannot recall copies already downloaded or independently indexed.

11. Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices materially change and provide an additional notice where appropriate. The published page will show its latest revision date.
